The St Anne’s And St Elizabeth’s Amplify Youth Room was officially opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of West Lancashire and the Right Reverend Abbot Geoffrey Scott OSB.
The evening started with watching the film made in July 2009 to show how the room was before we started,
We then invited the Mayor and Jacob to open the room. It might have been the Mayor’s jaw that hit the floor but I cannot be sure, Everyone was very impressed. Abbot Geoffrey blessed the room and then people wandered around. We had a photographer from the Catholic Pictorial at the event also.
