St Anne's Catholic Church Ormskirk Marriage

The Sacrament of Marriage is an important milestone in life. Husband and wife are called by God to help each other grow in holiness and to help each other raise any children God gives them in the love of knowledge of God.

To help couples prepare for this celebration and their life together, we have a preparation course and meetings with the parish priest. The course may be done on an individual couple basis or as a group. Couples are required to give at least six months notice of their chosen wedding day, but they are advised to give as much notice as possible.
