Holy Orders: Through the sacrament of Holy Orders, a man dedicates his life to the service of God and his people in a special way. This may either be through ordination to the priesthood, or to the permanent diaconate.

Anyone who feels he has a vocation to the priesthood or diaconate should first discuss this with a priest.

Preparation for ordination is normally arranged through the archdiocese, once a man has been accepted as a suitable candidate. Most dioceses have more information on their websites, as do the various religious congregations
